As a husband and wife chiropractic team Life Chiropractic provides relief

for the individual and offers wellness for the whole family.

We are conveniently located at 591 Alamo Pintado RD. Suite B Solvang, California

We opened our practice in September of 1998 and chose the Santa Ynez Valley because of the small town feel and family-oriented lifestyle this area provided. We also wanted to be close to our good friends that had a family chiropractic practice in Lompoc. Family and friendships mean everything to us, so it was important for us to be surrounded by a community with the same values and opportunities.

Our location has been a dream come true as it allows our practice to be readily accessible to all of the Santa Ynez Valley, which we knew would be important with our family wellness philosophy.

From the beginning we wanted a practice with a warm, inviting, family setting. We wanted our patients to know they can trust us, and that we are here to serve their entire family and community. We wanted patients to know they can come to us for advice of any sort, at any time, and that we would be there to help them.

We also wanted our patients to feel empowered and involved in their care, and to become active participants in improving their health and wellness, rather than to just “do what the doctor says” they are supposed to do.

We wanted patients to get the sort of results and outcomes that made major impacts in their ability to experience a full and exciting life. So more than just lessening their pain or symptoms, we wanted them achieving levels of health they never knew they could.

Life Chiropractic is unique in philosophy and provides state of the art diagnostic and treatment options that set us apart from other chiropractors in the area.

What is unique about our office is our strong focus on family wellness. We provide care to pregnant mothers, infants, grandparents and everyone in between. No other chiropractic office is set up quite like ours, and you will get that “family feel” from the moment you walk into our doors.

We have two types of ideal patients. First, we seek to help the patients who are really struggling and have gone place after place, but have gotten no help. With our level of expertise and care, we get results with even the most challenging cases that many others have given up on. If it is a case traditional medicine has failed at, it is likely a case specialize in!

The second type are those families who are already living healthy and active lives, but want even MORE! These are the families who are constantly seeking for ways to improve their health, their happiness, their vitality. We are also experts at getting people to live at 100% function, rather than being satisfied with just 80 or 90 percent!

Many people often have questions about our office… the first of which is, “I didn’t even know chiropractors saw kids?” This is a common question, but one that is easily answered. Pediatric chiropractic is the fastest growing segment of chiropractic care, and about 20% of all chiropractic visits nationwide our pediatric. In our office we go way beyond that and over half of the patients in our office are kids, making us one of the busiest pediatric offices in the country! No matter what your child’s issue, we feel chiropractic can help. Our office helps children with ADHD, allergies, anxiety, asthma, autism, bed-wetting, colic, constipation, ear infections, learning and behavioral issues, sensory processing disorder, and much more!

Another question is, “Is it safe for kids?” This is the easiest answer of them all… chiropractic care for children, and patients of all ages, has repeatedly been shown to be one of the safest forms of health care there is. This becomes even more apparent when compared with the “alternative” to chiropractic and wellness care, drugs. Most times drugs are not tested on children (rightfully so) and therefore pediatric doses are nothing more than ‘best guesses’ and often times can lead to dangerous and damaging side effects. That is not the case with chiropractic!

No matter what your age, and no matter what your problem, we want to help! So please contact our office to make an appointment.

Both Adam and Kendyl Pollenz D.C. completed their chiropractic studies at the prestigious Life College of Chiropractic in Marietta Georgia, the largest chiropractic school in the world. Prior to going to Life College, Kendyl received her degree and credentials in special education from the University of Central Florida. While attending college she worked as a chiropractic assistant in two of the largest chiropractic offices in the state of Florida. She also continued working in the profession through grad school as the manager of a very successful chiropractic newsletter business. Kendyl has spent the last 25 years passionately dedicated to educating and empowering people with a better understanding of how to achieve optimum health and well-being through chiropractic.

Adam received his bachelor degree in biology from Farliegh Dickinson University. While attending Life College, Adam had a primary focus on specific upper cervical technique. He had a life changing opportunity to be part of a team of 18 other doctors who traveled abroad to Moldova, Russia. During the mission trip they adjusted over 18,000 patients in a 10 day period using a specific upper cervical technique. Adam graduated from Life College with honors.

Coincidently both doctors discovered chiropractic when they were 12 years old when their parents both started under care. Kendyl’s father had an injury due to a motorcycle accident and her mother suffered from rheumatoid arthritis.  Adam’s mother suffered from severe debilitating migraine headaches. Both of their families experienced life changing results utilizing chiropractic after being failed by traditional allopathic medicine. From that point forward they both grew up with chiropractic as their primary form of healthcare. It was only a matter of time that they both decided that they wanted to be in a field that focused on health, wellness and prevention.

Pollenz both continued their education by attaining certifications as SHINE doctors in Dr. Ned Hallowell’s strength based protocol in the treatment of ADHD. Dr. Ned Hallowell is one of the world’s leading doctors and authors in the field of ADHD. This certification gives them the ability to treat highly challenging and difficult cases of ADHD and other sensory processing disorders. While chiropractic in general is helpful in these cases, their expertise and level of specific neurologically-based care allows them to get the highest level of results in these areas.
